ASKEL / NOTES
An everyday notebook

A little room
to notice things.

Light on a wall. A different route home. A small idea that deserves a second look.

01 / Looking

The quiet part of a photograph

A frame does not need to hold everything. An empty stretch of sky or a plain wall can give the rest of an image room to breathe.

Before taking a picture, it helps to look at the edges. Sometimes one step to the side is all that separates a crowded scene from a clear one.

02 / Walking

A familiar place, another route

The shortest way is useful. The slightly longer way can be interesting. A side street changes the order of things: a tree first, then a courtyard, then the sound of the main road.

There is no need to turn every walk into a destination. Paying attention is enough.

03 / Making

Keep the useful part

A good small project does one thing clearly. A notebook that opens flat. A shelf with room left on it. A page that loads quickly and is easy to read.

Leaving something out can be a useful design decision, especially when it makes the next step more obvious.

About this corner

A few notes, collected slowly.

Askel Notes is a small personal notebook about pictures, places and simple things. A place for short observations rather than a busy feed.
